When I click on the Nextgen block in WordPress edit page, and not click on the edit button itself, but the area between the button and the edge of the block, the block will suddenly disappear.

  • Hello @corporatei,

Sorry, we were unable to replicate this problem.

Let’s check if it is an existing conflict:
    – Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery.
    – Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
    – If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.

Same problem here, and no plugins activated but yours.

I am using a custom theme, but testing with Twenty Nineteen or Twenty Twenty themes also give the error.

Looks like all the post was suddenly reduced to minimal size in the editor, can not select any block, but the block navigation (in the top bar) shows them correctly in the list. I can select the blocks there, but all are “invisible”.

Hi, I just noticed that pressing the LEFT ARROW of the keyboard, all the content appears again. It is like if clicking on Nextgen block would “hide” or move the content (of ALL the post) to the left.

If I delete Nextgen block, everything works fine and pressing left arrow just navigates letter by letter to the left in the nearest paragraph block.

    Hello @fabuky,

So sorry, we were not able to replicate the same problem in a clean install with both WordPress Twenty series themes.

Would you mind removing the plugins and re-installing that again?
Mind letting us know what version of WordPress are you currently using?

Hi, I am using wordpress 5.5.1 and your plugin version is 3.3.17

Do you mean I should remove your plugin and install it again to check if the problem persists? Will I lose all the created galleries? Deactivating/Activating does not solve the issue.

    Hi @fabuky,

You will not lose your galleries; galleries are stored in /wp-content/ and the database.
The database will load the same settings again.
What we want you to check out is if any file is corrupted, that is not a usual case scenario, but it could happen.

Nevertheless, we always recommend doing a full backup of the site, always.
That’s part of the regular troubleshooting steps with a WordPress environment.
