    so cache preload

Automatically prime the page cache – is off

Preload the post cache upon publish events – off

in this case, when will the cache be purged? we do not want cache to be purged often, because we do not update content frequently.

    Hello @mohammedays

Thank you for your question and I am happy to help!

The mentioned options Automatically prime the page cache and Preload the post cache upon publish events are for cache Preload, and are used to Preload the cache using the sitemap URL of your website.

The purging of the cache is being handled by the Performance>Page Cache>Purge policy settings. By default, the cache will be automatically purged only when some content is changed or pages/posts updated.
This means that if nothing is updated or no new article/page is posted, the cache will remain the same and will not be purged.

    I hope this helps!

    Thanks!

I have a question about purge policy:

When I add new post or update a post, the cache for the post would be purged that is great, how about other posts will they be purged as well?

in the purge policy section, I checked two options only:

posts page and post page. in this case if I update a post will other posts be purged? if so how to not purge other posts if only one is updated or added. thank you
