When activate plugin, the whole Dashboard is crashed

I’d try disabling all your plugins and activating the default theme. Do you have any error logs there? That would be helpful to see where the fatal error is coming from

I was able to find the fatal error text that appears:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tgmpa_load_bulk_installer() (previously declared in /home/leadin61/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sportspress/includes/libraries/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php:2931) in /home/leadin61/public_html/wp-content/themes/morningmonday/library/addon/class-tgm-plugin-activation.php on line 2218

This is not an issue with the SportsPress plugin, but with the theme you are using ‘Morning Monday’.

I suspect they are using a very old, buggy and out-of-date version of an external library (TGMPA) and they really should upgrade to the latest version.
Upgrading that library to the current version will fix this.

In the mean time, you can fix this yourself by applying the upgrade to your installation.

1. Download the current version of the library from https://tgmpluginactivation.com/download/ – just choose “plugin” and add any text-domain to get a download.
2. Unzip the file and
3. Copy/upload (via FTP) just the class-tgm-plugin-activation.php file to the wp-content/themes/morningmonday/library/addon/ directory of your website, replacing the existing class-tgm-plugin-activation.php file.

Once you’ve done that, all should be fine again.

All the same, I’d highly recommend that you contact the author of the theme and ask them to release a new version of the plugin/theme which includes this upgrade.

We did that, but we’ve got the same problem, and the following error:

We are trying to contact the provider of the theme, unfortunately they are very slow.

Are you sure the FTP replace of the file was done correctly ? (and not rejected for whatever reason – write permissions etc)

If the file was replaced correctly, the error should be gone. Could you please try again ?

Interesting – been around here for quite a few years and never come across it before.
My association was “Microsoft Valued Professional” which is a well-known acronym, but didn’t seem right in this context ??
