When a theme is updated will custom styles/ templates be lost

I have tried to search for answer to this question but can’t find it. So apologies if it is already out there.
I am developing a new site using WP 5.9 and the new twenty twenty two theme and am making use of the full block editor.

In previous versions I edited the appropriate Css file having created a child theme etc. This time I have used a child theme which is what I am using as my theme but am using the stylesand template editor to update things on the site. When the Theme gets updated will I loose these updates etc as you would have done with previous versions or not?
