Whatsapp link not working on iphone

  • Hi, thks for your great plugin! We had noticed that the whatsapp link is not working on iPhone nor iOS, how to fix it?

    Hi @dglite ,

    We’re currently investigating this issue as other users of Buttonizer are also mentioning this.

    The only issue is that we use the official WhatsApp API for this button action. There is a possibility that there’s an issue on the WhatsApp side.

    We’ve also found a new endpoint for WhatsApp which we can use, so we’ll try to update the plugin to this endpoint and hopefully it resolves the issues.

    I’ll update your topic after we’ve updated Buttonizer.

    Hi there,

    I am experiencing similar issue. Cannot use Whatsapp on iPhone because I get the error message: this link couldn’t be opened. Check the link and try again.

    Very interested in the pro version, but this could be a dealbreaker for me.
