whatsapp feature doesn’t work on desktop

  • hey guys!

    can you please check my site and test if the whatsapp sharing is working? https://borgdw.meineschule.com when I’m marking a text and click on the whatsapp icon, a new window of my browser opens, but nothing happens in it (see screenshot). is the whatsapp feature just for mobile devices or is this a bug on desktop? sharing via email and copying works both on desktop and on mobile.

    @did3y WhatsApp has a few settings. You can select via the app endpoint, or the web endpoint.

    The web endpoint will try to launch the desktop app and also the mobile app on iOS. If the desktop app isn’t installed, it should prompt you for it.

    Please play around with the settings and see if any of the issues are resolved.
