Whats wrong with my pages?

  • I just got my layout going and I decided to put get a static home page and then add some more pages and changed the reading options. I added in a blog, forums, free stuff, merchandise, and contact me pages but for some reason when I click on my blog and forums pages I get an error that says directory has no index file. I dont know why i have it. I installed all the pages in a row and for some reason only the blog and forums don’t work. Anyone has an idea?

  • No sure if this will help, but when I selected a static page to be set at the “front page” or “home page”, there is a link right below it set as the default page for posts. This is all under the Setting > Reading tab. So I had to recreate a static page called “Blog” and then set the setting called “Posts page:” so that this “Blog” static page was set as the holding page for posts.

    Not sure if that’s your hang up or if this even helps. I’ve no experience with the forums.
