    Hello @marbs

The CleanTalk Anti-Spam Service identifies automatically if Varnish (or any other popular cache plugin) is active and disables the usage of cookies on website pages (Set the option “Set cookies” to “Off”).

However, we strongly recommend switching the option to “Use alternative mechanism for cookies”.

    Thank you.

What does “Use alternative mechanism for cookies” do?

ps; your answer contradict each other a bit. Do I have to set it to off or Use alternative mechanism for cookies?

    Thanks

“Use alternative mechanism for cookies” uses database tables instead of cookies. It helps to work properly with requests from the plugin but may slightly increase website load. Try to enable “Use alternative mechanism for cookies” and test website work.
