What’s the most recent version that works with WordPress 3.8?

    I’ve installed Smush v2.7.6 on my WordPress v3.8.23, and when I upload images, after the upload is complete, the page doesn’t redraw. I have to close my browser entirely, and log back into the site, in order to access the Media page normally.

    Happens in Safari and Chrome on OS X 10.13.1, and Chrome on Windows 10 Home.

    What’s the newest version of Smush that works with WP 3.8.23?

    Hey @elgordoyvr,

    Hope you’re well.

    It’s really hard to say that, this needs a lot of testing about a lot of version of Smush and we can’t provide all WordPress versions support. Also, it’s not recommended to use an old version of WordPress because of security vulnerabilities, also we are not recommending usage of old version Smush.

    If still, you want to try maybe you can give a shot to Smush 2.3 version. But as I said I can’t be sure without testing every version and this is not we can provide.

    We’re upgrading our site soon, so we only need the old version for a little while longer.
