    Dear Robin, thank you so much for creating such a useful plugin! Really appreciate it.

    I’m not that tech savvy, and I don’t understand every setting on the plugin settings page. So I wanted to ask a question;

    What is the simplest and lightest setup for this plugin to have the least impact on website speed? All I need is at the end of articles to have a way for readers to share on facebook, twitter, reddit, and by email. I don’t need any custom features or anything else special.

    Thanks for any clarification on this. ??

    There are really probably two settings you would want to consider changing to reduce the plugin’s weight/impact:

    • Button Output: change to “Text Only”.
    • Plugin Styles: uncheck both boxes here–you don’t need Font Awesome if you are not using icons.
    • Button Icons/Style: if you have the button output set to text only, this is irrelevant, but if you want icons on your buttons, I would pick the SVG icons

    If you uncheck the setting to load the main stylesheet, you will need to provide your own styles. Personally, I would leave the main stylesheet on, as it’s quite small; the primary advantage to not loading it is that you can reduce the number of requests being page on the page load.

    Outside of adding icons and styles, there aren’t any special features–this plugin is intentionally very simple. Hope that helps!
