What’s the categories sidebar for?

  • Very newbie question, why is there a sidebar called categories and what do I do with it. Is it for organizing my articles for a specific discussion,e.g., Politics, games, etc.

  • They are basicly folders.
    You create subject categories you write about.
    You can create as many as you want.
    For instance, once you create a category let’s say named “Politics”.
    When you write an entry that has to do about politics, before you publish it, mark off that “Polictics” category. It will save it in that folder/category.
    It will show on your sidebar so that people can click on it and see how many entries you’ve written about politics.
    That make sense?

    I’m not the best at explaining things. LOL
