Whats the best way to do this …
-
Just looking to get some more experienced heads to weigh in on this before I make a decision as to which way to go.
I am using WooCommerce to sell tickets to events. The events are managed by Event Calendar Pro and the tickets are being handled through WooTickets. The ticket price etc is sent to Cart and then Checkout for sales.
What I need to figure out is the following:
1. I need to be able to sell multiple tickets to an event. Not multiple quantities of one ticket (calculation) – actually multiple single tickets.
2. Reason for this is I need the registration (but not billing) details for each ticket sold – if the same purchaser is buying them. So if Joe buys 4 tickets to Event X I need to know the name and email address of each person for each ticket. Each ticket will then be issued a unique ticket number.
Is the best way to do this to add more product data capture fields to the first Ticket? Or add more Tickets in the Cart? If the latter, whats the best way to capture this?
Appreciate all the input or suggestions, WooCommerce can do some amazing stuff Im just not 100% sure how to proceed.
