• Since I can’t find this in a search on here or even on Google, I’m asking one of the most active blogger communities I can find — you.

    I work for people who need industry standards to measure success. The Web is a much more fluid place, but they refuse to believe there is not some list of categories to define successful blogs. Something like after a year a successful blog will have X uniques, X page views and X subscriptions. A bit more information about us (sorry this is still vague): National magazine with 20+ million in circulation. Crappy website. One blog that looks much better. Blog is promoted in magazine and online. Content of the magazine lends itself to blog format online as a companion, but management wants something to measure against before exploring. Not a very Web 2.0 way of thinking, but … Any feedback is MOST appreciated.
