• What’s going on? I just added your plugin to my site and now the previously transparent background of my favicon is showing with a black background on the site tab AND ion the site backend – but if I click in the image editor I can see the transparency is actually there correctly.

Need help with this urgently – this isn’t my site it’s a client’s site and it’s live.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Some have experienced this with the “Gd” conversion method on older versions of Gd. Are you both using Gd?

Solution: Delete all webp images (there is a button for that on the options page) and use another conversion method than Gd (or upgrade the gd library on the server)

I have made some changes to how I use gd – implementing some hacks. It may be that this solves it. It will be part of the 0.14.0 release, which I expect to release in a weeks time

Ummm … yeah. What’s “GD” ??? How do I “update the gd library” on the server??!?!?

I’m on wordpress and I have no idea why you are referencing “conversions”!??!

But yeah, look it was nice of you to reply to this fully 17 days after I posted it with “it MAY BE this solves it” and after have already uninstalled your useless plugin.

Must remember to rate this one star …
