What version of the plugin are you on? Our latest is 4.0.8 which should resolve this issue.

I have this same issue and I am using 4.0.8 since yesterday.

Can you give us an idea of the size of your website (amount of posts/terms)? Depending on how large the site is, the migration might take a while to complete.

While the migration is still ongoing, the plugin falls back to the old data so everything should continue to work as expected.

Is the issue you are referring to the items inside the action scheduler table?

If so, this should not be an issue at all. We use action scheduler to work through all your posts and terms to migrate them. If you want, you can easily delete all the entries of ours that are completed.

We are looking at doing this in the future automatically, but for now feel free to drop them.

I have three websites, one of which is for testing.

Website no 1 (for testing) (Namecheap + Cpanel) Posts – 1, Pages – 7, Total size of database: 1.11 MB, File size – 23 MB Zip, Total plugins – 2 ( Seo Version:4.0.9)

Website no 2 (digitalocean + cyberpanel ) Posts – 84, Pages – 10, Total size of database: 11.15 MB, File size – 400 MB Zip ( Seo Version:4.0.8)

Website no 3 (digitalocean + cyberpanel ) Posts – 189, Pages – 20, Total size of database: 10.23 MB, File size – 390 MB Zip ( Seo Version:4.0.8)

Same problem in all three websites.

My site is huge, I’m on a 2061-day streak out of 3,489 blog posts and more than 10,144 portfolio pages.

I tried deleting the tables, they just showed right back up immediately when I refreshed the database table view in WP-Optimize.

@miamcp The tables themselves are essential to AIOSEO so we create them when the plugin loads. When I mentioned clearing them, I meant clearing the contents, not the tables themselves.

With a site of your size, it may take some time to migrate, but it should all happen behind the scenes. Once the migration is complete, your action scheduler items will stop growing.

Thanks Benjamin, I will wait. It isn’t causing any problems on the front end or the server.

Last question

To what version will you remove the tables / records of the action scheduler? Because the size of the database is constantly increasing.
Database size is increasing on all websites (big or small website).
