Whats going on with the Multiples versioning today

Two weeks ago I noticed the pending Organize Series Addon: Multiples update 0.9.1 disappeared from my Admin panel.

I have not activated this update for several months now (because it messes up the Multiples capability).

Today the pending update 0.9.1 reappeared stating: “You have version 0.9 installed. Update to 0.9.1. View version 0.9.1 details.
Compatibility with WordPress 3.8.1: Unknown
This is a minor version bump because the download file available was actually version 0.8 of the plugin rather than 0.9 as expected. After downloading you will see in your plugin library Organize Series Multiples is at version 0.9.”

Is it now safe to activate this update please?

If you want to temporarily remove the update notifications because of any annoyance it causes, just bump the version of the plugin in its main file up to a higher number than 0.9.1 – keep in mind tho that this will prevent any future valid update notifications from showing up so you’ll have to watch organizeseries.com for news about updates.
