Is there any plans about HPOS for product tables? Storing WooCommerce products posts in a separate tables in database is a good idea.

    Hi @kleindberg,

Currently, we do not have any specific plans to introduce a High Performance Object Store (HPOS) for product tables. WooCommerce products are stored as custom post types in the WordPress database, allowing seamless integration and compatibility with the WordPress ecosystem.

However, we are always open to feedback and suggestions to improve our plugin. It would be great to have you add your ideas as a feature request, which is where developers go to look for future plugin features and improvements.

I hope this clarifies your concern. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

    Thank you.

Also wondering, so now the products data are still found in old databases even if HPOS is enabled ?

    Thank you.

    Hi @clitopwebsite,

The HPOS is only meant for the orders data (learn more); products data will remain stored in the same tables as it was.

    Cheers!
