whatapp web is opened instead of app on phone

    When I test the plugin on my (Android) phone, WhatsApp web is opened in my Chrome browser (https://www.whatsapp.com) instead of the app.
    When I check the verified links for opening the WhatsApp app on my phone the link that is used in your app is not listed as verified (see https://snipboard.io/gn2aq6.jpg). This is causing the opening of my default browser instead of the app. Any idea how this can be fixed?

    I check the website, and is working as it should be (tested in Android).

    Please, check if clearing the cache in the browser works, if not maybe you may need to check your device settings to ensure that WhatsApp is set as the default messaging app.
