I’m actually noticing the sites load ok when my mobile device connects to data – the speed issue happens when I’m just going through wifi, even though the wifi signal is strong and other sites load without issue. hmmm.

Hm, yes neither are loading on mobile over wifi.

If you have the problem in another theme, it could be a miscalculation of your caching plugin, or any mobile-specific plugins you may have installed.

Thanks James – just to be sure this isn’t a problem with any plugins or themes, I tried with a totally fresh site – zero plugins, using the Twenty Nineteen theme and it still won’t load via wifi.
