What to upgrade first?

  • Hi,
    I’m running an old version of WP and an old version of the Impulse theme. Does it matter what gets upgraded first?

  • I’d definitely suggest you upgrade WordPress first. If you’re at all worried about the theme, switch to Twenty Ten first. Also carry out a full backup & deactivate all plugins before beginning the upgrade.
