    Hello,

    don’t know if I’m right but it seems that IA only logs default WP post types (pages, posts etc). In my case there are dynamically created pages (eg search results) which are not logged.

    Don’t know if it’s a PRO feature or not. In that case, will PRO be able to log pages that are created based on user selections (eg post filters) which create their own permalink?

    Eg

    https://mysite/category-books (created by custom filter)

    and NOT

    https://mysite/category/books (default WP taxonomy)

    Thanks for using Independent Analytics!

    All of the page types that are native to WordPress get tracked, but we can add an integration to track dynamic pages created by a plugin. Could you let me know which plugin is being used to create these filter pages?

    I have realised that we also need the pro version to track Woocommerce pages. Sorry about that, we will definitely consider buying it.

    Anyway, the filter is this:

    In the meantime, is there a way to add your plugin’s tracker manually (eg in the header) to track those pages as well?

    It looks like our tracking script is already output on all of the filter results pages, but each view is getting counted as a homepage view. We’ll need to create an integration with this plugin to get the proper details to display in our analytics menu. We will work on this in the next update, and I can follow-up here once we have it figured out.

    We looked into this and it is more complex than we initially expected. If the filters are used on a page like https://mysite/category-books, then in the Pages report, you’ll see views for that taxonomy page. Even if there are filters applied, we realized that this is still the correct page to show. The visitor is viewing that taxonomy page, and the filters are an additional form of data. We’re not sure how to display filter data yet, and we’d like to create a solution that works well for all filtering plugins, not just the Filter Everything plugin. We may need to add new columns into the Pages report, or maybe create an entirely new report for showcasing which filters are used and how often. It’s something we have to research further before we can provide a comprehensive solution.
