What to do: SMTP Error 554, spam message rejected

    Hello,

    Sometimes I get an Error for SMTP not accepted. This is the message:

    Mailer: Other SMTP dienst
    SMTP Error: data not accepted.SMTP server error: DATA END command failed Detail: Spam message rejected
    SMTP code: 554 Additional SMTP info: 5.7.1

    WooCommerce

    /home/public/sites/www.aquadelight.nl/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/emails/class-wc-email.php (regel: 704)

    I don’t recieve the Woocommerce order in my mail. Only the above error message. The test email works good and i’m recieving it in my inbox, not in spam box. The plugin has been updated to version: 3.10.0. As SMTP emailadress we use [email protected]. Within Woocommerce en the WordPress website we use [email protected].

    Operating System:LinuxSoftware:ApacheMySQL version:Source distribution v10.4.30. PHP Version:8.2.8. PHP Memory Limit:256M. PHP Max Input Vars:1000. PHP Max Post Size:32. MGD Installed:Yes. ZIP Installed:Yes. Write Permissions:There are some writing permissions issues with the following directories/files: – .htaccess file. Elementor Library:Connected
    Version:6.4.1. Max Upload Size:32 MB. Memory limit:256M. Max Memory limit:256M. Email:[email protected].

    What can i do?

    Thanks for reaching out and I’m so sorry about the error message.

    Please kindly bear in mind that the error message you shared indicates that your server is rejecting the messages as it labels them as spam.

    To fix this, you’ll have to contact your hosting provider to provide more details as to why the messages are being rejected. We are unable to tell the reason because the message is coming directly from your server – which we are unable to troubleshoot.

    Please contact them and they should be able to help with these error messages. And if you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.
