Hi, first of all, thanks for the plugin!

What do I have to do after updating a plugin, theme, or WP core? Do I have to Purge Whole Cache?

    Thank you!

    Best regards,

    – Great question. I personally never generally purge the whole cache after updating plugins or WP Core.
The thing is if the update is changing any CSS/JS file that is being added to the front end only then it is needed. Generally when you update a theme, it makes a lots of changes to CSS, JS files while plugins and WP core mostly makes changes to the backend stuffs and rarely make frontend changes. So, unless there is any front end changes you don’t need to purge the whole cache. And infact if there is a frontend end you need to force purge everything (including static files) not just the HTML page cache.
