• When backing up images in a blog for a period of time. It definitely will grow. Is it better to use like Flickr to serve the photos from flickr or have it in the wordpress photo folder?

  • Well first of all you should check how much space you do have in your hosting plan. What most people do if they start to get tons of images on there website is they just expanded there hosting space. I know you can get unlimited space plans from Bluehost for fairly cheap.

A second way, if you don’t want to expand your hosting space, is to like you said above, you can use storage outside of your website. There are lots of options here. You could use Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, Amazon, etc. The only thing is that you would need to mount the outside space into your media library. You can do this with lots of plugins.
