    Hello

I installed your plug-in, Converter for Media, it seems to be great for my needs and I need your opinion to solve a problem:

After the converted images I noticed that the space on the server disk was occupied, it increased, which tells me that the conversion was done. In the wordpress library everything was converted but when I checked the website the images were still in jpg.

After a few laps, clearing the cache in LightSpeed, I noticed that when turning off the Image Optimization part in LightSpeed ??also turned off “Image Webp Replacement”. When I activated it I noticed that other images that had been converted with another plug-in were active again in webp but the ones I created with Converter for Media were not. If you try the home page the photos are Webp, from the other plug-in, but the logo is jpg.

However, today I made a new blog post, and the photos activated correctly in Webp with Converter for Media active.

    via .htaccess/Nginx (recommended)

It seems to me that to have all the images correctly in place I will have to do one of two things, for which I ask for advice:

_ a) delete the plug-in so that it deletes the entire photo library, installs it again, and performs the conversion again

    b) Force the conversion of all images again

I think this will solve the problem.

    Best regards

    Fernando

    Hi

It is all alright now. Maybe the server take some time to actualize.

    Hi @colfer,

    Thank you for your message.

From what I see, you are using a different image optimization plugin, right? Image URLs are changed to .jpg.webp. Our plugin does not change URLs to images, so when looking at the source of the website, you will see the URLs for the default images all the time. Our plugin creates redirections to output files in WebP and AVIF format, changing the MIME type of these images, but without changing the URL.

I will also add that you use the cache on the server – it is not a WordPress cache plugin, but a server-level cache. After activating or deactivating the image optimization plugin, you need to clear it.

    Best,
    Mateusz

    HI

    Everything is Ok now.

All the photos appear as Webp in all.

Maybe the server take some time to update.

    Regards
    Fernando
