What to back up?

    Hi All. I just got my WordPress site up and running and would like to begin backing it up. In addition to backing up the WordPress database (which I can do through cpanel), is saving the contents of my WordPress root directory (public_html) sufficient?

    I’d like to avoid a plugin for now.
