• Hi all

    [redundant URL removed]

    I’m pretty sure this a WordPress theme. However, the developer seems to have removed any reference to the theme name.

    So the $million question, has anyone got any ideas what theme has been used ?

    many thanks in advance

    It seems to be a custom developed theme. From the theme’s style.css file:

    /*
    Theme Name: Birchwood School
    Theme URI: https://www.birchwoodschool.co.uk/
    Description: Theme for Birchwood School
    Author: Martin Bleasdale | eBusiness UK
    Author URI: https://www.ebusinessuk.com/
    Version: 1.0
    */

    hi steve… thanks for that.. couldn’t they have just renamed the theme wherever it was referenced any where in the files ?

    What do you mean by “just renamed the theme”? The theme is already named as it should be, so what would be the use of hcanging any naming of it?

    You’ve got the contact info for the dev in that CSS block, so why not contact them directly if you have questions about the theme? Most devs are happy to talk about their work.

    a theme’s name can be changed to whatever name you like. The directory name is usually the theme name – thats the normal way you can tell what theme a website is using. But that name can be changed, as well as references to the original name across the board. Specifically to prevent people like me trying to find out what the original theme it is, IF it was an off the shelf theme in the first place
