• Hi guys,

I’ve just downloaded and installed Make, now I’m trying to set up a static page with some text, images, etc. I’m a bit frustrated with trying to understand how to get my images to do what I want them to.

What I want is for an image to appear no taller than say 300px, and only to scale down from that point, which starts at 960px wide. So how wide should my image be to start? Is the answer 300px tall x as wide as possible?

I’m currently sizing my images at 960px x (say 300)px, but then when I upload them to the site, it is blowing them up to be say 500px tall.

Hope that makes sense, thanks in advance.

  • Hi there,

Are you adding these to the Banner section? You can control the height by setting it in the Configure options (it’s the gear icon in the black section banner).

Thanks Melissa, I’ve got this figured out now. I was just having a bit of a moment, set the height of the banner section to be 400, but then I was resizing images to be 960 x 400.

What I should have done was make them (as wide as possible) x 400, well that’s what i ended up doing and it solved my problem.

Thanks again for your reply and your help.
