What size should the featured image be?

This is a great theme, other than the fact there is a big ugly box with the post name it in that blocks nearly the entire featured image (got rid of that) AND that I can’t find where it tells what Size the Feature image should be so it fits nicely inside the slider.

What size should the featured image be so it fits perfectly in the slider?
