What should I do with my site?

That’s a great start. It’s also a pretty nice niche!

There’s always so much to do on a new site but here’s what I would touch first:

1. Make the book images fall into the text. In other words, don’t have your pictures just sitting on their own lines.

2. Populate your other pages (e.g. monster reviews). I’m sure this is already on your to-do list.

3. If the goal is to have ads somewhere, start placing your ad blocks so you know how things fit.

4. Add a tag section. As your list grows, you’ll want to have tags readily available to your audience (e.g. Harry Potter, teens).

5. Start promoting the heck out of it! That means go make some friends with other blogs in a similar niche. Comment on their sites, ask to write a guest article, etc…

Thanks for all of the advice. I’ll start with number one!..Not sure how to go about doing it, though. How exactly do I make the book images fall into the text?

When you create a post, just insert the image (right above the toolbars).
