What should be output from the rss feed?

    There are many posts about rss feeds, but I couldn’t find an answer so far

    When I try using various external readers or services such as feedburner, the rss output doesn’t include for example, the the author of the post (I’m using WP2.02).

    When checking with feedvalidator, this information appears to be present, but is not being displayed by the feedreaders.

    Is this an issue to do with feedreaders, or something to do with WP?
