    Hello,

What service worker and server is used?
When I read all the issues with server overloads and github tweaks to solve it I am thinking of setting up the server myself
    https://developers.google.com/web/fundamentals/primers/service-workers/

How does your plugin take the work out of my hands?
When I read the instructions it looks like I have to do the same things when setting it up myself. Same with server usage. Your server is not carrying the load, but my server will?
What exactly is this plugin doing to make things easy?

  • Hello,
Thanks for your question. Our plugin provides easy integration with WordPress setups. All you have to do is install the plugin and configure it with the dashboard on OneSignal.com. After that, you can start subscribing users and can use the dashboard to send targeted notifications to your subscribers. OneSignal has a powerful infrastructure that delivers lightning fast delivery speeds.

Because there are files such as images and SDK files stored on your server, you should ensure that it can scale to handle increased loads when a notification is sent. Browsers will retrieve the files from your server occasionally so this can quickly become a load consideration if you have a high number of users. Other than this consideration, OneSignal handles the entire notification delivery process for you.

    Hope this helps.
