I’m running 1.5.2.1. It wants to upgrade, but I’m getting this error:

There is a new version of WPS Hide Login available, but it doesn’t work with your version of PHP. View version 1.5.2.2 details

But the website is running PHP 7.1cgi. You plugin says 7.0 will work?! What’s going on?? Thanks,
    Jim

  • I think is a bad code somewhere in the new version.

If it’s compatible with PHP 7.0 then why won’t it let me upgrade to 1.5.2.2? See the error message in my original post. Thanks…

There must be a problem checking the PHP version, it has nothing to do with the plugin itself.

I’ve been able to upgrade other plugins with no problem. Other people are reporting this problem. There’s something wrong with 1.5.2.2

I am having the same problem. I upgrade to PHP 7.2 and I still can’t update the plugin. I already did a cache flush. The only solution could reinstall the plugin. Is there any other way?? Please help

Go to WordPress Support directly ? not relative with this plugin in particular

I just upgraded my PHP from 7.1cgi to 7.2FastCGI. Then I was able to upgrade this plugin to 1.5.2.2
