what member role for the newsletter registered users?

    Hello,

    if a visitor register for a newsletter, what kind of member role does he get by default?
    Is it possible to change the role automatically? eg. using WooCommerce the registered users are “Customers” and it would be very useful if I could have the same role for all the MailUp users.

    When a visitor fills out the newsletter subscription form, an API call is made to the MailUp API to subscribe the new recipient in the MailUp list that has been associated with the WordPress site in the plugin settings.

    The recipient is NOT added to the WordPress site as a user/member.

    Do you think it will be possible in a future release to add the subscriber also as a WordPress member?
