What is WordPress Capable of?

Hello guys,

I face you with a challenge.

I need to know what wordpress is capable of before I spend too much time into it.

I need to create a backend website with a shop where people can buy products.

So login with user name and password purchase / sent out a confirmation email from the backend to the purchaser and the owner of the company.

That’s step one.

Dose anyone know if SQL + WAMP/XAMP can communicate and send data to and from JDE ( JD EDWARDS )
