What is Vaptcha?

  • Hi,

    I don’t know where to post this because I don’t know what is causing it.

    I was looking at the data provided by Search Console Insights and I noticed that it is detecting some pages that in theory do not exist, pages about something called “Vaptcha”.

    I checked every plugin I have installed and I didn’t find anything, I was trying to find any add-on called “Vaptcha” inside every plugin. I run iThemes Security but it didn’t give me any alert.

    What could be this “Vaptcha” thing? Can someone give me some info about it?

    @nlpro Thank you for your answer.

    I posted it here because iThemes is the only plugin where I have Captcha enabled and I thought they might be linked.

    I am very concerned that Vaptcha is creating pages without my consent, plus I haven’t even installed it.

    I have just written them for clarification.

    Only the (premium) iTSec Pro plugin includes (Google) reCaptcha functionality. And afaik it has nothing to do with VAPTCHA.

    Note this support forum only offers community support for the free iTSec plugin.

    Anyway do share whatever info you get about VAPTCHA in Search Console Insights ??

    @axsu I have the same problem with my website. I am trying to figure out the problem too.
