What is this plugin supposed to do?

    I installed the plugin from the dashboard of my WPMU.

    After installation I could not find any change.

    In the Network Managment settings there was no read entry.

    And in the specific sites the Settings > Write screen looks as it always has.

    The result does not depend on if I do a Network Activate or a separate site activate on the plugin.

    Where does the change go?

    Hello

    When the plugin is activated, the “Update Services” section is visible in Settings > Writing. Like this: https://d.pr/i/MAXu

    By default the update services functionality is removed when you activate a multisite network. I think this has something to do with stoping the risk of spam if you have a lot of blogs. When you activate the plugin you get this functionality back.
