    Hey guys,

I’ve got this page that is not showing the entire content of the page. I switch the template to a different template and it’ll work fine. Switch is back and […] takes all but 2 lines away from my content. What’s going on? What could be in the template files that’s doing that?

    the site is https://bigoak.betaforyourdomain.com/about-big-oak-ranch

    Thanks

  • your theme is using the_excerpt which by default usually shows 55 words (your theme may show more) and you are supposed to click on post title to see full post

you can replace this in your theme with the_content which will show the full post or as much as you want it to before a “read more” link is added by using <!--more--> where you want the post to break

couldn’t find your theme to look but the code should be in theme’s index.php
    also, review this

Yeah, I’m doing things the hard way. I’m making my own theme, yikes. But, that solved the problem. I had just forgot to put the content instead of the the except.

    Thanks for your help
