    Hi team,

I’m using the free version of Wordfence and I love it!

Could you point me that what is the latency to detect vulnerable plugins with the free version? For example, if you found a new vulnerable plugin and put it into your database today, when should the free version Wordfence able to detect/report it?

    Thank you very much.

    Cheers,
    Leo

Hi @leo2003, thanks for your question and I’m glad to hear you’re enjoying Wordfence.

When we find a new kind of attack, we turn that into a firewall rule and new kinds of malware are turned into a detection signature. This flow of firewall rules and malware signatures are deployed to our servers in real time. Our free customers receive this data with a 30-day delay.

    Thanks,

    Peter.

    Hi Peter,

    Thank you for your support.

Is the 30-day delay apply to plugin vulnerability as well? For example, if your team found a new vulnerable plugin today and I’m using that plugin, when should the free version Wordfence detect it? and how fast it will be detected if I upgrade to the paid version?

    Thank you.

    Cheers,
    Leo

    Hi @leo2003,

If a plugin vulnerability is reported in public, the scan would report it to you and send you an email alert if you have them set to high. However, we wouldn’t release a firewall rule for 30 days.

We can’t discuss any of the premium features in more detail here as per forum rules.

If you have any questions regarding the premium version feel free to contact presales @ wordfence . com where our excellent team will be happy to help out.

    Thanks again,

    Peter.
