    Hello,

when I try to complete the fields in the “Social”-Menu-Item of Yoast, I see on the Main Tab “Google+ URL”. OK, fine, I enter our URL here.

On the “Google+”-Tb, I see “Google Publisher Page:”, and I don’t know what this means.

Is it the same as our Google+-Page? Is it different? What exactly is it?

    Please enlighten me!

    Thanks,
    Gerd

  • Hi Gerd,

The Google Publisher page was used when Google supported specific publisher and author tags. They no longer support it. In fact, you can expect that in a future version of Yoast that section will no longer appear. You can view the report here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/3000. We suggest commenting on it so you may be kept aware of updates. You may need an account in order to post.

In the meantime, we suggest adding your Google+ profile url to that section.
