What is the correct way to add CSS to the Admin pages?

  • I have a *serious* problem with the WP dashboard layout. *I* DO NOT LIKE THE TWO COLUMN LAYOUT AT ALL. I really, really, really, DO NOT LIKE that the WP developers took out the ‘Screen Options’ for the admin dashboard. I consider that a major blunder. I have a piece of CSS that ‘fixes’ it to force a one-column layout. I was using the wp-admin-clasic plugin, but that plugin seems to be broken WRT WP 4.0. At this point I can live with the stupid reverse color scheme, but the two column dashboard is totally unusable for me.

    Do I have to write a silly tiny plugin or is there a simplier way to do insert a small piece of style code?
