Hello there. I have Widget Context and i want to hide few widgets in UM profile for all users. You have function in Widget Context to do that by links, but i’m not sure what is the correct link for the profile. For example , this is how your profile opens – https://www.site.com/user/admin … I’ve tried with https://www.site.com/user/, but it does not worth like that, so i need the correct path for “?dmin”. Is it code or something that changes to user’s name? like user/profile … or user/$profile% … something?

    Hi @qnkov

What’s the page assigned to the UM User page?

Please go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > General > Pages.

    Check picture

I’ve tried to exclude it with all those paths:
    Профил
    user
    профил
    user/user
    user/профил
    user/profile`

But still don’t work. If you write write path as user/admin … it’s working cuz i’m pointing correct path as my username is typed. But that will work only for me, but how for all users?

    Hi @qnkov

Are you able to view a profile or others’ profiles? Please go to WP Admin > Users > hover on a user > see “View Profile”. It should redirect you to the user’s profile with their profile slug.

Yea, of course i can view other users profile.

    I will get path as – https://mysite.bg/user/testuser/

But how to exclude with widgets for all users using Widget Context?

I can do that for individual users, by writing they profile’s url.

    Hi @qnkov

It’s not clear. Could you please provide a screenshot of the Widget Context that you’re referring to?

Check link. That’s option in Widgets. For example, you open site/anime.php page, and you don’t want to see certain widgets in right when you are on this page, you use this plugin to exclude that widge. Like i’ve done by writing:

    anime
    bookmark
    contacts
    team

The same thing i want to make for my users. When they open they profile, i don’t want them to see certain widgets in right, but i don’t have correct path for this. I can do it for myself or any other users by individual adding for example that url… site/user/admin or site/user/nickname

But i cannot apply that to all users by writing one path. Maybe there is no way doing it that way?

    Hi @qnkov

What plugin do you use for the Widget Context? Or is it builtin within a theme?

Sorry if you cannot understand me. Widget Contect is the plugin, when you install it, you’re getting more options for all your widgets, like i’ve shown u in the picture. One of the options is to hide certain widgets in any page you want by typing the ID/Slug or url of the page.

    Hi @qnkov

Have you tried using the following pattern for dynamic page URLs?

    site/user/*
