What is the best way to automatically notify staff members based on an event

    Sportspress version 1.4.7.

    I have a general question.
    I’d like to allow the teams that are part of an event to communicate with each other (specific to the event). Ideally I would use the events’ comment and reply facility to ask question and to reply because an event is basically a post type.
    But how and where would be the easiest place to implement a notification email that will be send to all staff members of the teams as response to a new reply (I defined coach and manager as staff jobs)?

    Or is there an easier more elegant plugin or tool that could be used.

    @ulf18273 Thanks for your feedback. The current version doesn’t have a way to send notifications to staff members yet, but we’ll definitely consider adding this in a future update or possibly as an extension.

    WordPress has a way to send notifications to the admin email address via Settings > Discussion, and it looks like there is a plugin designed to send notifications to more than one email address. I haven’t tested that plugin, though, but it might be worth a try.
