    Hi!

Hoping someone could provide a little feedback.

I have a blog that I am revamping/updating and want to change the domain name to better reflect what it is about.

My question is, should I create a whole new blog altogether and just recreate the content and once that is done ditch the old blog. Or do I get keep the information that is there already and change the domain name to the new one?

If any one suggest which way is better, that would be great!

    Thank you!

  • I would “move” it… but there can be a lot of trouble ??

Better is really very subjective. You can, easily, get a new domain and change it. Or not. it’s really what you WANT.

If, in your revamp, you find that your posts are no longer appropriate, then I would delete them (or maybe move them to another blog).

egado … thanks for the link I read through the information, yikes!! it is way out of my level of ability. However, it did fill me in on what is involved.

Ipstenu, point taken. After reading the post from egado and your comments, I think what I will do is create a new blog altogether. The one I have currently I have let slide over time and after reading everything I have on SEO etc, I see where there are some serious shortfalls.

I am going to start fresh and start off on the right SEO foot.

Thank you, both, for your comments and direction!
