What is the best SEO Plugin?

  • I have a question about ALL IN ONE SEO. WP permalinks will handle the SEO looking links. Exactly what does all in one seo do? so I turn on permalinks, so links look like they are SEO format, then I enable all in one seo? ok…nothing looks different, am I missing something?

    What is the best seo plugin out there?

    any suggestions?

  • There’s no such thing as “the best SEO plugin”. SEO needs to built into all aspects of your site – not just added by a single plugin.

    seo plugins handle your header infos like title, meta description and so on.
    some offers to adjust follow\nofollow attributes and a lot more different things.
    everybody got his own understanding of optimization and with the plugins you can set it as you think works best. like esmi said: SEO goes through your whole site with a hundred factors to be kept in mind when building sites. There′s no button like SEO: on\off ??

    It’s true you can handle your permalinks readability in the settings panel. I use All in one to add tags and categories to meta keywords per page, and a few other things.

    I had the same question and found the answer here but, is it possible to add more than one SEO plugin at the same time?
    If yes, would that be beneficial or they will conflict each other?

    You can generally add as many plugins as you like to WordPress, though the liklihood is that those which do the same thing will probably not have been tested with each other, so you may have to just try them and see.

    I think this question has largely been answered already, though, in that no one plugin or combination of plugins will suddenly fix your site’s SEO.
