What Is The Best Free WP Photo Gallery?

Hello!

I have been trying gallery plugin after gallery plugin but not finding a simple to manage (meaning for dummies!), free gallery component that allows you to create and display a simple gallery from either media library images and/or new uploaded images on a page in my WP site.

Lightbox feature and auto thumbnailing would be super sweet also.

Any ideas?
