What is ROOTS ID?

  • What is ROOTS ID? Do I need to update this? If so, how? Trying to upload GEDCOM file from Reunion 13.2 software for Mac genealogy software.

    I have uploaded the GEDCOM file on the webpage after that I view the page it showed me that no data root is required written on the page After that on the tree page I started to find the roots but not able to I click on the select root button there is no option to select one I want to understand the complete flow what I have to do after uploading the GEDCOm files in the webpage.

    @billdorgan Root id is the id of most oldest member in your family group, or member id whose you want to put top of tree.
