This may not even be related to Yoast. I can’t find any info about it online. I have dozens of 404 errors for searchbots looking for numbers-sitemap.xml file which does not exist. What is the file? I’m ASSUMING that it would be a sitemap because I have a lot of phone numbers on my site, and I have added html linking to them (e.g., a href=”tel: … “) .

Is this an additional sitemap that, perhaps, Yoast Premium would generate? Or is there a plugin that does generate it that I could use in addition to Yoast? Or is this a sitemap that is not at all necessary? I’m just surprised by the large number of searchbot requests for the file.

P.S. If not clear from previous post, I do in fact use Yoast SEO, including for sitemaps generation.

Have discovered what the problem is and posted a separate support question.
