What is my MySQL username?

  • I′m a newbe on this. Can anyone explain to me how www.remarpro.com, the FTP-program FileZilla and an MySQL are working together?

    I have payed for my wordpress.com blog and moved it to .org
    Now I want to install a forum. I need to do some programming, I know. I need to install all the stuff, an Im trying to install www.remarpro.com now. I am asked to write my MySQL username and so on… where do I get that?

    And do I realy need a webb hotel as a host? Why did I pay wordpress to move my blogg to a .org site if I need to pay more to get a host so that I can start programming?

    First make a localhost (local server on your computer with software like LAMP, XAMP, WAMP or MAMP).

    Then download WordPress installation file & install it on your computer with the help of tutorials from WWW. By the way, you can understand basics of hosting, database & WordPress like scripts.
