What is Ignore Order Status?

    I dont understand the option “Ignore Order Status”.

    Can anyone explain it to me? What is the use case for this setting?

    In certain situations an order is created but is also left in the cart until the payment is actually processed. If the item is expired from the cart during that time period then the inventory stock won’t be reduced and the same item could be purchased by someone else, but then if payment is made on the first order the item might become oversold.
